Press release in paper:-

www.SalsaSpeople.com a Midlands based Salsa School raised over £300 for Children in Need

The theme of the Salsa party that took place on the 29th Nov 2008 at Moira Village Hall, Ashby Rd, Moira DE12 6DP, was a ‘Human Auction’.  The idea being volunteers from our Salsa classes on the night offered themselves for auction as a date, or offered a job or trade to bid on.

Kate Judge of www.SalsaSpeople.com said:- "We did better than last years event, with people really entering into the spirit of the night and having fun.  Raising £328 for this wonderful charity.  I was really amazed at the kindness of all the people attending the party especially them putting themselves on the spot and being auctioned 5 ladies and 5 men, we had some interesting talented people, who had some great ideas to get people bidding on them.  Everyone joined in even those not being auctioned bought gifts in to be raffled, or bought a raffle ticket.  I always knew our group was a friendly lot, but this generosity and kindness really put a tear in my eye. It’s so important to remember to give something back.  I'm now looking forward to next year’s event, so anyone who has any good ideas for that please join us, and also learn to Salsa!"

If you wish to attend any of our classes please come to either:-

Sunday at Moira Village Hall, Ashby Rd, Moira DE12 6DP at 6pm

Monday at Dosthill Cosmopolitan Club, 69 High St, Dosthill, Tamworth, B77 1LG at 7pm
