Finding your Party, Event Venue, Corporate Event, or just Team Building, is one thing getting it started is another.

If you hire 'just' a DJ what tends to happen generally.... small groups cluster, new friends and old friends tend not to mix they become a little inhibited and, this leaves the party fast growing stagnant and dare I say it boring!

Ok, so we need to get them mixing, we need some fun activity to get the little groups together.  Introduce your party to a fun Salsa Lesson.

It can be just a few basic dance moves that would be easy to do for them, and for those that can't do it...well... that will give them something to smile about, now we have groups mixing and smiling, sounds better?

We have a full PA system, (no red/yellow disco lights around a square box sorry), but a discrete laptop that plays hours of your choice of music.

If you hire us for the evening/day we will include the Salsa Lesson, plus we have a few other 'Party Games' that you can choose from depending on your group and event.

1 review of Salsa People in English

User photo: YankeeGirlYankeeGirl Birmingham 29 June 2010

Salsa People is a fun, spirited group of salsa dance classes held around the Midlands area. Kate Judge, voted in the top three Best Salsa Teacher of 2008, runs three rotating classes in the Birmingham area, with the most popular being at Tamworth. The others are in, Lichfield, and Moira.

Kate is a great teacher, an infectious, fun-loving woman with a loud voice and an even louder laugh. It's obvious that she loves to dance and loves people. She's very good at encouraging newcomers, and shy retiring types to engage in the fun. She always remembers names, and is very organized about sending out emails, social networking and including everyone in the fun.

She runs events and parties, which are great fun, and typically attract a hundred or more people.

She and Salsa People are available for parties, events, corporate team building, bar mitzvahs, etc.

If you're looking for salsa lessons or events in the area, this is a really fun way to meet new people (most of whom have their teeth, regularly shower and deodorize, and aren't socially scary), learn to dance and have a grand ole time.

And I do it, so it can't be bad, right? Hello?
